In improving a country's human resources or to achieve a country's ideals are always related or related to the name EDUCATION. Education is one of the measuring points in the success of a country. When a country has a good education system and runs according to plan, it can be said that the country is stepping towards enormous progress.
Education is the biggest challenge for every country. Because every country wants its population to have high human resources and be able to compete with people in other countries.
One of them is the Philippines. The Philippines is one of the top 5 countries with quality education in South east Asia. The latest education system in the Philippines is to establish compulsory education for 13 years, with details of 1 year of pre-primary education, 6 years of primary school education, 4 years of junior high school education and 2 years of senior high school education. The Philippines has a literacy rate of 97%. That is a very good number.
In my observations in the country of the Philippines, the Philippines has shortcomings in the distribution of education. especially the areas that are far and difficult to reach. Then I asked my friend who lives in the Philippines what shortcomings there are in education in the Philippines and he was the state or ability of a person to pay for education. Poor Filipinos think "it's okay that they don't have an education, the most important thing is that they can eat". That's why when I was in a tourism centre in Gapan City, there were so many young children who were forced to work because of their economic condition.
In my journey to do Students Exchange, I was surprised by the condition of the Philippines where the average Filipino can speak English. in contrast to my home country Indonesia. every education or learning in the Philippines lecturers teachers or students always use English and indeed occasionally still use Tagalog (the national language of the Philippines).
